Mallorcapixel.com is a private website, founded in 2010, with roots dating back to the year 2001. It is the quintessence of years of hobby photography, with thousands of photos, panoramas, gigapixel images and videos taken all over the island. In the face of the upcoming birth of my first child, this site shall help providing me with the funds necessary to offer my son/daughter some basic perspectives on this island.

I therefore put on private sale hundreds (soon thousands) of photos taken on the island or related to it. There are surely millions of photos taken on Mallorca already, but the ones you find here cover every aspect of island life and they are all available in exceptional quality. From landscapes to sights, from mountains to beaches, from nightshots to weather phenomenons, from food to plants, from roadsigns to letter boxes, every aspect of life on the island shall be covered. It will take some time to upload all images, so you are invited to come back and check for updates regularly.

I am on a full time job and so is my partner, but we will both continue to expand this site with new content whenever possible offering visitors the best experience possible. You can acquire the photos on sale at reasonable fees for a wide range of purposes, be it newspapers, magazines, books, publications, reports and many more. Please respect the license you are obtaining, because in the end of the day, it contributes to us making a dignified living from it, keeping in mind our efforts related to those photos.

The website is not limited to the photos you see on it. We are available to take custom photos on demand and we can shoot almost everything for you. Our equipment allows us to shoot from high up the mountains, go underwater, descend into caves, follow a contruction project or simply shoot at your event or location. Even if you had an event you like to have a lasting memory of by means of a photo book, just drop us a few lines with your exact requirements and we will get back to you asap.

Further to ordinary photos, we have a great and unique collection of panoramas and gigapixel images. In particular the gigapixel images are available on an made-to-order basis and resolutions of up to several gigapixels are possible. In addition to those we have an ever growing number of animations available, which are mostly made as animated GIF files for use on websites, or in emails.

Finally we offer a number of souvenirs, decorative photo products and some pieces of art, which includes from time to time some huge and unique print-outs of photos, framed by a Mallorcan craftsman. Those are only available for personal pick-up or delivery on the island. Last but not least, our postcard services allows you to send real postcards to friends and people, without the need to be on the island. You can choose from more than 100 different postcards, add the text and address to your order and we will do the rest.
